Synopsis
Madrid, Tuesday July twenty-sixth at a temperature of 66 0C. A dangerous panther has escaped from the zoo and is wandering aimlessly through the city. The mayor, fearful that this will ruin his reputation, has offered a succulent reward to whoever kills the beast and gives him its head. Saint Anton, patron saint of animals, who has been ruined by the excesses of drugs and alcohol, is entrusted by God with the task of saving the panther from the cruel fate that awaits him and helping him escape to the island of Formentera. . In case he doesn’t succeed, he will lose his sanctity…forever. Aided by his gang of lifelong friends: San Paquito, San Jacobo and San Cucufato, San Antón embarks on a journey to save the panther and thus maintain his saint status. On this journey he will encounter all kinds of grotesque situations, surreal musical numbers and the most extravagant characters, such as a redneck fond of hunting, a Glovo delivery man expert in tap dancing or a blind coupon seller who just wants to find love. …And to the panther, who, far from wanting to be saved, his intention is to devour anyone who gets in his way.
